JOSH IMPSON DIES AT JUMBO HOME
Funeral rites were held at City Cemetery in Antlers Friday afternoon for Josh
Impson, 57, native of Pushmataha County, and resident of Jumbo
Community for many years. Rev. M. R. Archer conducted the service.
Josh Impson was born at Jack Creek, Indian Territory, January 5, 1889, and
passed away at the family home at Jumbo January 10.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Loretta Impson, Jumbo; Ben Impson,
Lawton, Oklahoma; Ruth Mann, Soper; also a brother, Frank Impson, Jumbo, and a
sister, Susie Williams of Atoka.

MARY IMPSON SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY.
Mary Elizabeth Impson, a resident of Pushmataha County since her birth, died
Saturday in the Antlers Nursing Home at the age of 89.
She was born here January 22, 1889.
Surviving her are one son, Ben Impson, Antlers; two daughters: Ruth Madding,
Rattan and Loretta Osgood, Huttig, Arkansas; one
brother: Henry Phillips, Antlers; eight grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Mills and Coffey Chapel with
Reverend James Sealy officiating.
Interment was in the Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of the Mills and
Coffey Funeral Home.

BEN M. IMPSON FUNERAL SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY.
Funeral services for Ben M. Impson of Antlers, were held Wednesday afternoon,
March 1, 1989 at 2:00 in the Mills and Coffey Chapel.
Interment followed at the Antlers City Cemetery.
Ben M. Impson was born December 5, 1915 in Jumbo and died February 27, 1989 in
the Pushmataha County Hospital.
Surviving relatives include two sisters: Ruth Madding of Rattan; and Loretta
Osgood of Huttig, Arkansas; and 41 nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
Ceremonies were officiated by Reverend J. W. Ray; and arrangements made by Mills
and Coffey Funeral Services of Antlers.

Marvin Reynolds, Minister Baptist of Antlers, Oklahoma, married the couple
November 27, 1964 at Antlers, Oklahoma.

ACCIDENT VICTIM FUNERAL IS HELD.
Funeral services were Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Moyers Baptist Church for
Joshua Will Osgood, 12 year old Lawton youth, who died as the result of a
gun accident. Interment was in Antlers City Cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home
directed.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo T. Osgood, Lawton; the
grandmothers, Mrs. Mary Impson, Moyers, and Mrs. Cora Bell Osgood,
Wilmer, Arkansas; three sisters, Linda Fay, Mary Jane and Cora Lee; two
brothers, Johnny and Albert Leon. The youth was visiting his grandmother,
Mrs. Impson. He was born March 14, 1950 in Wilmer, Arkansas.
