Family Reunion Date / E-mail Newsletter

Family & Friends:
It's almost reunion time again!! YEA!!! Please make a note of the
dates
July
27, 28, & 29, 2012 at Wister State Park Youth
Camp, Wister, Okla. In short,
same date (last weekend in July) and place every year.
We can get into the youth camp at 2pm
on Friday (27th) and must be out by noon
on
Sunday (29th).
Cabins are available to all those that come from distances. Each
cabin will sleep
about 18 people and they are air conditioned. You must bring your
own pillows,
sheets, etc. There are also showers - don't forget towels, soap,
etc.
There have been at least 2 committees formed to help the reunion
run smoother.
One for food and one for the auction. Contacts are TJ Phillips,
Lesa Monks, Dora
Piersant, & Julie Davis. They are already getting idea's and
suggestions together.
There are also discussions on facebook on all subjects for anyone
to contribute to
or read or add your contributions to. If you need help with
facebook, please get

Some of our family members have put together a site on facebook,
for family
news and just general day to day living. There is also a 'group'
site, but you do
need to be invited by someone in order to view & contribute on
this site. The site
was set up this way so that it would only be for the Reunion and
not the general
public....all you need to do is let anyone of us know you need an
invitation so that
we can send it to you. This is all free come and join the fun. If

Due to price increases in every phase of our lives right now, this email is

the usual "news letter mail out". I have been trying to collect
email address for the
last 4 years. So PLEASE be sure to contact the rest of your family to make
sure they
get this news. And again.......I WILL NOT send you 'junk email' if you don't
want it,
but this is a wonderful, easy, and quick way to keep in touch. We can stay in
touch
and pass on news very quickly all through the year.
So when you get this email, send me any email address of your family members
so I can continue to reach more of our family. These email address will not be
passed out by me. Include first & last names with the email address.

welcome to send me any news that is happening in their family and it will be

on via email to the rest of our family members........easy & quick way to
stay in touch.

Fm Sandy:
This is not a news report that I wanted to write, but we have lost another one
of our dear
family members. Teresa Dana passed away this morning of a heart attack at the
age
of 39. She was at Sparks in Ft. Smith, Ark. at the time of death with her family
at her
side. I will write again when I have more details.

Early in the morning on that fateful day,
Two planes appeared and headed their way.
They hit the twin towers one by one,
And when the dust had cleared the terrorists
Thought they'd won.
They damaged our Pentagon and tried to hurt
Our White House too,
But some heroes appeared and took out their
Suicide crew.
They hurt a lot of people and then ran to hide,
When they realized how powerful was out
American pride.
We took the Taliban and Al Qaida out of power,
I hope they are regretting taking out our Twin Towers.
It's been a year now and we're rebuilding our lives,
But we still miss our husbands, brothers, sisters, kids,
And wives.
